Cultural Camp 2022

Be healthy! Strong body, Strong mind, Strong spirit.

The workbook and audio were used to keep the youth moving in a fun way through song, dance, and ice-breakers at camp.  They also hiked to the waterfall, hiked trails after the Gondola ride, swam, played volleyball, basketball, Ga Ga Ball, swings, ​and danced at the powwow.

qe'ciyéw'yew' to our titéeq'is Wilfred "Scotty" Scott and Florene Davis, and for Lee Bourgeau's traditional foods talk, cooks Jasmine Higheagle & Santia Arthur, drummers Pete Wilson, Donald "Tush" Powaukee, Gordon "Gordy" Higheagle, Tina Guzman, and Nigele Williamson, and to the campers & camp counselors, Cultural Camp committee, especially Joyce McFarland who Scotty recognized for all of her hard work and dedication to our niimiipuu, and to staff at Wallowa Methodist Church Campsite.
